Drawing 22 of my challenge to create 100 drawings in 100 days. Okay, so I know everyone must have been wondering if I quit my challenge. Well, I took a detour to use my prismacolor pencils that I hadn't used in years, thinking that it would help me catch up on my days. The truth is it actually put me further behind. Welcome to my page and this is my artwork... Sonya Walker was born and raised in Savannah, Ga. At a very young age, she demonstrated a keen interested in drawing. As a very quiet and shy child, she used drawing as a way of occupying her time. In high school, one of her instructors encouraged her to pursue her art education in a newly established school in town called the Savannah College of Art & Design (S.C.A.D.), which he wrote a letter of recommendation for her to attend. Sonya went on to major in Illustration. After a year of study, Sonya decided to withdraw and pursue her art interests. In 1989, Sonya became an Associate Artist with J.P.
